IMMEDIATE PRESS RELEASE DATELINE: TUCSON, ARIZONA U.S.A JULY 14, 2008 G.L.D.A., Inc. ANNOUNCES A CHANGE OF DATES FOR THE JANUARY 2009 LAS VEGAS GEM & JEWELRY SHOW NEW SHOW & DATES: G.L.D.A.’s “HIGH FASHION JEWELRY AND WATCH SHOW” IN LAS VEGAS AT THE MIRAGE HOTEL   AUGUST 30, 31, & SEPTEMBER 1, 2009 G.L.D.A., Inc. announced it “WILL NOT” be holding the Las Vegas Winter Gem & Jewelry Show scheduled for January 25 – 27, 2009 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas.  The January dates did not seem to generate a lot of interest so we had no choice but to find dates more conducive to business for both buyers and exhibitors.  In keeping with this goal, we are moving this show to August 30, 31, and September 1, of 2009. The August dates coincide with the busiest “International Fashion & Accessories Trade Show” of the year.  And G.L.D.A. is certain this will be a successful show.  Below is a list of advantages to holding the show during this period. G.L.D.A.’s “HIGH FASHION JEWELRY AND WATCH SHOW” will be held during the busiest International Fashion & Accessories Trade Show Week of the year.  The High Fashion Garment and Accessories Industry & The Jewelry Industry are a perfect match for clothing, accessories and jewelry and the High Fashion Trade Show brings over 120,000 wholesale buyers each year from all over the world.  That coupled with the G.L.D.A. Jewelry buyers should make for a fantastic fit.  For the past few years there has been a mergence of the fashion and jewelry industries.  These two industries complement each other and are not competitive.  The G.L.D.A. “HIGH FASHION JEWELRY AND WATCH SHOW” will feature something for everyone including “Fine Jewelry, Diamonds, Watches, Gems, Pearls & Opals”,  “Silver and Bead Designs” as well as “High Fashion Costume Jewelry” and “Jewelry Related Gift Items”.  There are already a number of Jewelry & Watch companies who exhibit at “The High Fashion Trade Show” or one of the satellite shows being held during the same period, and most do well, but there is not yet a section or show strictly for jewelry and we intend to fill this slot. G.L.D.A. will advertise and promote this show in both industries with ads, and direct mail, email & fax advertising to companies all over the world.
